The Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (BayFIA) advises and supports small and medium-sized enterprises and universities in particular in obtaining funding from the Free State, the federal government and the European Union. She herself is responsible for a number of technology-oriented funding programs. In addition, it offers comprehensive assistance along the innovation process, in questions of technology and knowledge transfer as well as patenting and licensing. In addition, there are strong technology and industry-specific networks within BayFIA that promote exchange between Bavarian actors from business and science. To realize innovative project ideas, the partners work hand in hand at the two locations in Nuremberg and Munich.
