Saarland is facing an enormous economic challenge: the transformation of the automotive industry.

The regional transformation network is to develop approaches with which the region can be strengthened as a business location and employment can be secured in the long term.

To this end, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection is providing funding of 7.1 million euros from the "Transformation strategies for regions in the automotive and supplier industry" funding measure.
