CyberJoin: funded project on joining technology for the transition to e-mobility

CyberJoin is an innovation network funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy that connects companies, research institutions, and organizations in the field of modern joining technologies.

The cyber-physical transformation-hub aims to support companies in the automotive and supplier industries on their path to electromobility, alternative driving concepts, and lightweight construction toward CO₂ neutrality. The focus is on knowledge transfer in the areas of joining, materials, and manufacturing technologies. CyberJoin brings together the diverse expertise of its partners to develop innovative solutions and make production processes more efficient, sustainable, and of higher quality.

Workshops, knowledge transfer days, and joint development projects create valuable synergies that are directly incorporated into practice. CyberJoin thus makes an important contribution to strengthening the competitiveness of German companies in the international arena.

The Materials Testing Institute at the University of Stuttgart and the International Welding Technology Society are strong partners leading the hub's activities.
