Company profile
Gentex is best known in the automotive industry for its automatic dimming interior and exterior mirrors. Since our founding in 1974, we have developed into a technology provider with comprehensive core competencies. For example, we have expanded the mirror into a strategic module with numerous functions, including cameras, displays, transaction modules, driver observation, and much more.
To offer such a broad product portfolio, Gentex relies on unique vertical integration and core competencies. We develop our own chemical components, including for coating dimmable glass. In addition, we develop our own sensors and customized camera systems, including their integration. We also develop software solutions, manufacture displays, and produce highly automated products in our own manufacturing facilities.
